IT and System Management

Information Technology (IT) refers to the use of computer systems and telecommunications for the creation, processing, storage, exchange and retrieval of every type of electronic data and information. The administration of IT systems in a data center or in an enterprise network is known as Systems Management. Since the functioning of most modern businesses is dependent on some sort of IT system, it is through proper Systems Management that IT functions are maintained for ensuring the operational efficiency of any business.
